When we watched Wall-e for class and seeing the destruction of the earth via over consumption and pollution I was reminded why I wanted to become an environmentalist. But all the planet needed is one person (or one robot) to make a difference. Wal-e kept on cleaning up, even though everything seemed hopeless. The difference is we still have a green planet that we can take care of. I believe that it was morally wrong of the humans to leave earth and have it be someone else's problem. We have to make it our problem because it's the planet we live on and we only have one. They destroyed earth and abandoned it. The people on the ship did not change their lifestyle, they were still consuming at an alarming rate. They really have to work and change their lifestyle so that the generations to come.
